WHY AUTHENTICITY MATTERS

The pre-owned luxury market has grown significantly, attracting experienced collectors, first-time buyers and investors alike. Alongside this growth, the sophistication of counterfeit manufacturing has advanced dramatically. Modern “superfakes” often mimic original hardware, stitching, leather tanning and embossing to an extent that requires highly specialised inspection.

Our authentication framework addresses this reality directly.

OUR HYBRID VERIFICATION MODEL

Eye Luxury Concierge employs a dual system that combines advanced AI diagnostics with leading independent human expertise. This allows us to identify even the most subtle discrepancies in craftsmanship, materials, construction and branding.

The two pillars of our authentication system are:

ENTRUPY ANALYSIS (AI-POWERED)

Entrupy is a specialised authentication technology that analyses high-resolution data captured from the physical characteristics of a luxury item.

Its technology is designed to identify inconsistencies that may not be visible to the naked eye and provides a data-driven authentication result.

Depending on the brand, model and item category, the authentication process requires a different number of Entrupy tokens and therefore has a different cost.

How it works

Select your category, click Request Authentication and contact us via WhatsApp. We will review your item and guide you through the authentication process.

When an item receives an Authentic result, Entrupy generates a digital Certificate of Authenticity for that specific item.


BABABEBI REVIEW (HUMAN EXPERTISE)

For Hermès, particularly Birkin and Kelly models, we go a step further by using Bababebi — the most respected independent Hermès authenticator, with over three decades of specialised study and first-hand exposure to thousands of handbags.

The Bababebi evaluation is:

  • Based on production knowledge, leather characteristics, stitch symmetry, marking depth and dating accuracy

OUR DOCUMENTATION PROTOCOL

Each bag undergoes a detailed photographic process before being submitted for verification. These photographs are made for internal examination and for the external verification service.

We meticulously document:

  • Leather texture and grain consistency

  • Mounting and assembly points

  • Hardware edges, finish, screws and plating

  • Interior embossing (“Hermès Paris Made in France”)

  • Stitching alignment

  • Date stamp coding

This internal process is essential to us. It ensures we are not relying solely on external opinions, but rather cross-referencing and corroborating them with our own detailed inspections.

Upon completion of the process, Eye Luxury Concierge provides clients with:
